MEISA General Meeting Recap!!! Monday January 9th, 2011

If you missed MEISA’s meeting on Monday, here’s a recap of what’s going on:

• TOMORROW January 11th there is a free show in afterHOURS featuring Surfer Blood, Cuckoo Chaos, and Tan Vampires!!! It’s NU+1, doors open at 7, show starts at 7:30. Check your emails for an OrgSync message about volunteering. If you aren’t on our email list, come to our next meeting and let us know, or send an email to neumeisa@gmail.com! • On Wednesday, January 18th we are having 3LAU play in afterHOURS, and it’s an NU Only show. More info is here:

PLUGS:

-Springfest meetings will be coming up in the near future, more info soon.

-Rock Shop will be happening at Great Scott on January 16th at 7PM. Go to their Facebook page for more info.

-Anthony Green will be playing the Paradise on January 18th, and will be doing a signing at Newbury Comics earlier in the day (so you can still make it to our 3LAU show!!!)

-WARPED TOUR UNIVERSITY is on February 29th, and will feature a show as well as a speaker panel. Kevin Lyman, creator of Warped Tour, will be here to talk about his time in the music business. Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows will be playing in an NU Only show in afterHOURS that night.
